TOOWONG HARRIERS
Toowong Harrier's Membership - Little Athletics
Please check back here around the end of July 2024 for the 24/25 season registration information. Registration fees for the upcoming season are below. While striving to keep costs down this year, we have had to pass on LAQ fee increase, ongoing service and maintenance costs increased Regional venue hire fees.
If you are unsure whether your children will enjoy little athletics, you are welcome to join as a trialist from week 3. This will be available to all age-groups unless capacity has been reached (each age group is capped). Trials include 2 consecutive meets for $10. Trialist memberships are not available for prior season members.
The trialist fee is non-refundable once paid. The fee covers 'Results HQ' platform fees and administration recording costs which enables results to be recorded for each trialing athlete.
The family deposit of $100* is refunded at completion of the season (approx May 2025) if:
-
A parent/carer takes on a committee role for the season; or
-
A parent takes on the role of age-group co-ordinator AND completes 6 volunteer sessions.
-
10 volunteer sessions (can include working bees) per family are completed for the season. It is important to ensure your session is correctly recorded so please make your way to our officials coordinator before the meet starts to record your attendance. This is regardless of using Duty Roster via TeamApp to register for a role. Our officials coordinator can generally be found in the tent adjacent the clubhouse and is easily spotted by the line of volunteers getting their names recorded.
*Please note this refers to a full season.
We encourage and welcome parental assistance for as much as your family is able to assist and if you are able to assist at more than 10 meets, the committee and children would greatly appreciate it. No doubt, it will sometimes be required to ensure meets run smoothly.
Membership Packs
Membership packs will be available for collection from 3-4pm on Sunday 11th August at the Jack Cook Park clubhouse. Alternatively, packs can be collected at the Intro to Little Athletics registration afternoon on Saturday 17th August. Uniforms can now be pre-purchased from our online shop and will be included in your membership pack.
We strongly recommend that uniforms and membership packs be collected prior to the first meet so that you are able to sew the registration number and age pocket onto the polo shirt. More details on uniforms can be found on the shop page.
